Review: Kotobukiya EX-Xecty

I've seen her in military uniform, bikini and goddess outfit, but nothing beats being re-designed to an android form. She's slightly bigger than most of my 1/8 scaled figures, not to mention an additional taller and slender proportion.
Emotionless expression is the way to go for androids. Her hair's in another different color from the few other versions I mentioned earlier, purple looks nice. The glossy black areas of her outfit is not exactly black, it's more like a tinted black to imitate transparency. I like that idea, makes my imagination run wild. Anyway, android or not, the color combination of white and pink is definitely for girly girls.
You can see the details of her abdomen and belly button. Yes, there's something else which I didn't mention along the same area, but you probably guessed it. There are many more to her details which you can see here, but I have my eyes fixed somewhere else.
Her sleeves looks great. They even add ruffles to her cuffs area.
Pony tail rocks. She has those guide vanes for her flying and 2 long wings attached to her head. I wonder why they didn't make it fixed, the ball joints don't really help to hold her wings up due to the weight. In substitution of her long pointy ears, long pointy earphones.
Nice mini-skirt. Especially those thighs showing out of them.
Chest front, hips back. Look at that posture.
She has that cute little ribbon behind her waist in the same color theme and she has that cute little something-else below. Yes, she's wearing pantsu.
Those thighs are really irresistable.
Her legs sort of similiar to Gundam legs with all the knee guards and boosters behind the legs. Initially I was thinking that her legs are movable with her joints looking the way they are but somehow they made them fixed.
The details are very realistic for her legs with all the seams. The feet with those robotic high heels.
The inverted V-shaped base is very sturdy but I don't understand why she's wobbling everytime I try to type here. I doubt she'll fall. I don't have much experience with these kinda figures that suspend in the air, so I can't really comment if it's normal for this case.
She's beautiful. The colors are just right. The pose is great and that outfit definitely is one of my favourites.

Review: Kotobukiya Lucy

Something strange in the neighbourhood. I was reading up the Bishoujo line of figures and I really had no idea they had a new ghostbusters character. I saw the actual box a couple of times in stores and I was thinking that it could be an action figure taken after one of the 4 usual guys. Honestly I didn't pay much attention to it, until a few days later they put her up on display.
Lucy comes with all the classic ghostbusters gadgets. Here you can see she has the ecto goggles around her neck. Put them on and you're able to see ghosts, it's that easy. How to put them on? Pull her head out, hang it around her neck, then put her head back, it's that easy.
The proton wand with many many switches to press. Just aim, lock, fire and electricity will come flying out.
The wand is attached to a cable which links to the proton pack behind her back to supply the energy to zap those ghosts. All the good memories, let's get back to reality. The cable seems like it's made of PVC, so that means probably it'll break. Her jacket's unzipped halfway to expose her black tube bra and 2 full height mountains. Why don't they just make her jacket unzip all the way?
The proton pack looks exactly like the real thing I see in the movies. I can't believe how they managed to get all those details and colors right. It's so old school with all the IDE cables.
The ghostbusters logo look so cool.
Apart from all the cool looking gadgets, she also has a pair of cool looking pants, literally cool being ripped and extra exposed surface for ventilation. Now here comes the question. How come her pants are ripped but her top remains scratchless?
Bright pink thong. It's kinda refreshing to suddenly see a bright color. For me, it's just refreshing to see thongs.
Pretty cute butt. Can someone explain to me how that piece of her pants, not being pulled up by anything, be able to defy gravity? Something strange and it don't look good.
We can see the front inner thighs being exposed, so does the back portion. The remaining portion of the pants form the shape of an underwear where there's some nice lace details.
Her boots are great. Military combat boots, reminds me of my army days.
The base has a metallic-finished ghostbusters logo manhole cover on a concrete setting accompanied by the ghost trap. All those fantastic job on the base already got me sucked in without the ghost trap opening.
Well, this figure is full of mysteries and questions waiting to be answered. Who you gonna call? Overall she's worth getting if you're looking for a hot babe in a ghostbusting outfit. That's definitely no questions asked.

Review: Hobby Japan Cham Cham

Cham Cham was quite a rare find for me. The pre-order didn't last long enough till I found out she's actually from one of the Queen's Gate. She was hiding at one corner of a local toy store and happens to be the last piece. Instant grab. The box was slightly damaged, but who cares, it gave me more reasons to open her up.
First of all, that face with cat ears sounds out moe to every loli out there. Hard to think that she's from Queen's Gate, I was expecting someone a little bigger. Bigger at you-know-where.
Her proportion fits the aspect of an anime girl with her head usually slightly bigger than her body, anything neck down seems okay with me. The colors of her jungle outfit is surprisingly gentle to the eyes with all that striking yellow and brown stripes.
Something interesting is her hair tie which looks like a marble, feels like a marble, hopefully she doesn't lose her marble.
Lioness hair style in jungle green. Wow wow wee.
Claw gloves. Scratchy scratchy.
Humongous bomberang which has the same color theme like her outfit.
Being cute is not the only thing Cham Cham can do, there's also an element of sexy. Look at that leg. If you've been following my reviews so far, you can tell I'm a leg guy.
The sole of her shoe has some nice details with the paw print.
Would you look at that. This is my favorite part. That's one hella of pose. Even though she might look like it, but she's actually not castoffable.
You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off you.
White round base with Queen's Gate on it. Her right foot's screwed on, so she's very stable. Screwed on, yeah, I like the sound of that.
Her pose is great, the colors are nice and she's not exaggerating with all the fanciful stuffs. She's made of decent quality although not really the best out there. I may have to add that she's not easily available in the market, and even if she is, she's not gonna be cheap.

Review: Megahouse Cattleya

Voted the Hottest Mum of Queen's Blade, Cattleya. She has this perfect image of a housewife, with black hair in a ponytail and an apron-like outfit. This figure comes with several designs of glasses, so you get to choose which one you like the most and put it on for her but I prefer mine without them. Her body has that chubby built, but her face and arms are kind of thin.
Her apron's in a pink and purple combination. It's completely glossy for the purple portion and normal finish for the pink parts.
I kind of like the pink flower on her hair. It's so mummy.
Epic watermelons. It's definitely going to put a strain on her back. They're so mega.
The details of her back muscles are so lifelike with all the shadings. Great job there. A cute tiny ribbon at the back of her apron. Look at the size of those cheeks.
Giant watermelons comes with giant sword. Funny that the sword name is Giant Killer, the same name I would give her watermelons. The sculpting of the hilt looks great. Like all other Megahouse Queen's Blade figures, they always pay attention down to the smallest details of their weapons.
A huge two handed sword. Comparable with Berserk's Dragonslayer. A slab of metal for most sword wielders, but a deadly and powerful weapon for those trained.
The sword itself is as tall as Cattleya excluding the length of the handle. Her thighs are thick and sturdy, considering that she has to wield the sword and those extra weights on her chest.
Just those kind of normal high cut boots, ranger-style. The base is silver in color and once again, the Queen's Blade in japanese.
One of the main accessories that Cattleya comes with is her son. Yes, Rana's a he and he's equipped with a small elephant.
I always like to get the limited version of Queen's Blade figure, but this was a different case for Cattleya. The limited version only comes with a javelin, so in other to add Rana to the collection, you will have to get the normal version instead.
A smaller similiar base but with no Queen's Blade on it. Well, he's not a Queen, so that makes sense.
Megahouse did an awesome job with Cattleya. She comes with special items like her glasses, sword and her cute son. She's worth it.
