Review: Kotobukiya Seena

Seena's got a sweet look with her short red hair. The cloak's quite well done with a cute little red ribbon on it.
Gotta hand it to Kotobukiya this time. The headgear has a small magnet underneath to keep it in place on her head. The details of the small feather look amazing on it.
A lily shaped fencing sword. Excellent color combination with white, gold and silver.
The texture of her outfit feels smooth and rubbery with a little combination of matt. A little disappointing to see that's she quite flat. I meant the color scheme.
One thing I like about her is the way she holds her scabbard, very naturally done.
The details of her belt with all the silver and a very short skirt.
Nothing fantastic about her back except for that very obvious buckle.
A rose decal on the side of her stocking.
Another rose decal on the other side. Her knees shading look nice.
Nice cheeks. Yeah, the panty's a giveaway for the day.
Something like a cow girl's boots with some fine line details.
Finally something different from the usual white base. A red base.
I must say Seena gave me more than what I expected from Kotobukiya. The colors and details are great plus the quality this time is really better than the rest of the Shining Wind figures I have.

Review: Kotobukiya Mao

First of all, I know nothing of Mao, except she's from the Shining Wind series. Secondly, cat ears. Lastly, Kotobukiya.
The back of her hair looks nice with another layer underneath. Not many figures have that.
She's wearing a pink cheongsam with a bulky jacket. I must say the decals on her jacket looks great.
The paw decal looks cute. Once again I spotted something strange with Mao's outfit. How can the clothes be showing tighter near the bikini area when her pose is leaning forward? Won't it rip or cause discomfort if she was to stand?
The decals on the gloves looks cool.
The small little ribbon at the side tells me she's not wearing anything underneath.
The back of the jacket floating slightly with her pose.
Quite a nice femine right hand.
Why is she not wearing a skirt? I want a refund.
On second thought, the back of her thighs and hips don't look that bad afterall.
Fishnet stockings with leather boots. It's too exciting for me.
As usual, I present the commonly white oval base with nothing on it to you.
Overall Mao's quite a simple figure but with that expression and pose, she really brightens up the day.

Review: Megahouse Annelotte

Annelotte's a knight in shining armor. She's the main character of the new Queen Blade's Rebellion series and she definitely looks hot with that sweet face and badass armor. She's well proportioned compared to most of the Queen's Blade first series characters and the quality is always great with Megahouse. She wears a clam shaped tiara and there's a red dragon head ornament at her neck area.
Her hair flows to the back and curls at the tip. A great match to her pose.
All the delicious fine details of her armor. The silver chrome with a combination of gun metal color makes her look like she's really wearing metal. The grooves with fine black linings are simply amazing.
I'm always impressed by Megahouse. They never leave out a single detail to whatever figures they make. Even the gauntlets of Annelotte are like art pieces which I never imagine possible.
A knight's sword.
And a great shield to go with.
Look at those thighs. I always preferred thighs with a little meat on them. I mean who likes skinny drumsticks?
A small heavy piece of cape is clipped to her back hip area. Yes, it's thick and heavy but it does give the solid feel.
In my opinion, Annelotte holds the best legs in Queen's Blade. Look at those leggings. There are layers on her legs to really bring out the best in her leggings. Not to mention the fantastic shadings.
The design of her leggings is superb.
I can never get enough of those legs. But with great quality comes great fragility. It kind of worries me with that standing on one leg and leaning back a little, eventually something might give way.
Queen's Blade Rebellion on the base.
Annelotte's one solid figure to get. I've always love figures with weapons and great outfits but she really topped my expectations.

Review: Kotobukiya Kureha

Kureha's one of the more popular characters in the Shining Wind series. Even I can't deny that she's my type of girl. Her character outfit's nice, the color scheme is just right and there's this dynamic pose only Kotobukiya can offer.
At least the hair ribbon looks natural. The problem with Kotobukiya's figures are they somehow missed out minor details with the outfits, most of them being gravity-defying.
Hair looks great. Somehow it looks weird being lifted half way at the back of the head but I could live with that.
The sleeves are fantastic. Swinging from one side to the other, it really does make her look alive. Her shoulder looks great as well.
Yeah, twist that butt. Can't find any fault with that posture.
This is one of my favourite. Bringing that arm up and lifting that weight. I'm referring to her sleeve.
Being over exposed brings goodness to my eyes and bloodiness to my nose. I never expect Kureha to have such valuable assets. Talk about hidden treasures.
I can't emphasize enough on her sleeves. They really look lively, very nicely sculpted.
Kureha comes with her bow where she'll hold behind with her left hand. Yes, the bow comes with a string. Yes, I'm looking at her behind, so who cares about that bow now.
The decal on her sash looks nice. There's some small little ruffles at the tip of her skirt, just above those smooth slender thighs.
Her legwear look like loose socks. Yummy, loose socks are my favourite.
It's just a dark brown oval base.
She's great, she's cool, she's one of the best Shining Wind figures out there by Kotobukiya.
