Review: Kotobukiya Phoenix

Whoever knew that Jean Grey can look so hot? For those who don't know, Phoenix and Jean Grey are the one and the same. Somewhat similar like Son Goku powering up to become Super Saiyan, in Jean's case, from your girl next door to become this cosmic being known as Phoenix.
Hairs are running wild like her personality. I was expecting the hair to be like other Marvel Bishoujo's figures which is in a translucent color, but apparently that's only provided for the Dark Phoenix.
The golden phoenix logo in front of her chest.
Whoever says green and yellow doesn't go well with each other, I'll give that person a slap across the face.
A side shot of her, shows out all the curves. Especially with her pose, it tells a lot.
Curvy back with skin tight suit, I'm lost in speech.
Her abs are a major attraction to me. The shadings definitely get into me, not to mention the belly button.
The yellow waist scarf which floats around are beautifully sculpted and dynamic.
If you think green and yellow is all Phoenix got, then you're wrong. She also comes with a gold clip for her waist scarf.
I just love how girls bent their legs. Awful lot of sexiness in femine beauty.
Even though Jean and Phoenix is the same person, but the legs obviously doesn't say so. As you can see, Phoenix's leg is slimmer than normal Jean's, although I like my legs a bit fleshier.
The flames look awesome. Again, translucent orange is only for the exclusives, we'll just have to settle for the normal matt orange.
It's refreshing to see plain old Jean in Phoenix mode. For those who like to see a good girl turn bad, Phoenix is the one for you.

Review: Kotobukiya Wonder Woman

I guess most of us are familiar with Wonder Woman, another classic character by DC Comics. A warrior princess of the Amazons with extraordinary speed, strength and agility. Her figure requires minor assembly for her Lasso of truth, a roman helmet which you can just place it on her base, and some spears where you need to poke into some slots.
The part of Wonder Woman which makes it all so wonderful. Her overall skin shadings are exceptionally nice.
Wonder Woman's top piece comes in metallic red, with her 2 'W' symbols across her chest. I can recall her belt being something like a metal plate, so I'm not sure why is her belly button showing. I love belly buttons, so who cares.
Like all Bishoujo figures, Wonder Woman also has that clear PVC used for her hair in purple-black.
She has a magnificient side view if I do say so myself.
Her lasso has two open ends on each side where you just pin them into her hands. She also comes equipped with her indestructible bracelets to fend off flying bullets.
Her back area shadings and proportions are nicely done, but somehow her bum area looks a little plump.
Fully exposed legs couldn't make me much more happier.
She has that nicely decorated shield in the same metallic scheme like her outfit on the base. You can place that roman helmet any where you like as long as there's enough space for it to sit on.
The spears attached to the black cape of her base. They only serve as some decorative purpose to the overall base design. Just be mindful while slotting them in as they're quite a tight fit and I somehow scrape a little paint off. Once you got those in, you won't be able to notice the scraped off areas. I believe this is a common problem for those who owned her. Owning her sounds nice to my ears.
Her red super high heel boots are a major turn on. She's standing with her feet in a straight downward angle which is extremely femine and sexy.
Her base texture is rough, looks like a soiled ground.
Wonder Woman's very detailed with nice colors. Her pose is simple yet nice and given a base like that, you wouldn't want to give her a miss.

Review: Megahouse Nyx

A sorceress in the Queen's Blade world, Nyx has the best gown in town suited for the Grammy. When I first saw Nyx, she has that Office Lady or Sensei look on her especially with her hairstyle and color. Her dress is in a metallic red color with some green vines by the sides and some flame design on the lower part of it.
She look fabulous with her hair covering one of her eyes. The way she poses show great confidence like a supermodel on a runway.
I always have a thing for long hairs.
Bare back sexiness. The shadings on her back are fantastic.
Nyx's skin hugging dress which displays her curves without having to cast her off. The design's relatively simple but it does the job well. Her papayas feel like they're going to drop out of place but then I realised probably push ups weren't invented yet.
The vines by the side adds on to her elegance. They are made of clear plastic which is extremely fragile. One piece of advise, do not apply too much force. They also add to Nyx's overall surface area, which gives a visual illusion that bigger figure looks much more nicer to display.
Matching purple stockings with garters holding them up. A little thigh skin exposed.
The flame design at the tip of her dress looks amazing.
I think Nyx is the first for having a swallow tail dress. Watching that butt also makes me hard to swallow my saliva.
The evil blue magical staff with its only eye locking on to Nyx's butt while getting dragged around. I wouldn't mind being dragged if I get to look at that butt all day long.
Classic red high heels.
Red translucent oval base with Queen's Blade on it.
Nyx shouts out a lot of mature sexiness with her character design and color scheme. She'll be another great addition to Queen's Blade collectors out there.
