Review: Kotobukiya Black Widow

I've always have a thing for Russian babes and Black Widow was no exception. I saw her appearing a few times on Iron Man and never did I expect Kotobukiya will release a figure of her. I somehow didn't quite like the face that she's having but who cares about the face when you look below the neck.
The details of the pistol she's holding are quite well done considering its size to be that small.
Her hair's in a solid crimson color which really brings out some contrast on her who's wearing that all black suit.
That black body hugging suit with its zipper brought down saved this spy from being shot down several times. I mean who could focus on shooting when you don't even know where to place your eyes.
Her waist belt is pretty simple, being black with gold trimmings. Feel free to touch them, there's no plastic explosive inside.
Her awesome high tech weaponry bracelets. Nice figure, I mean fingers.
Her suit's not completely a smooth boring piece of cloth. As you can see, there are several fine detail lines on it. Not to mention, the curves are really showing and I'm getting excited, so it isn't a boring suit.
Guess she really is a world class athlete and gymnast, just look at those solid thighs.
She definitely has a more fuller and mature bottom than the rest of the Bishoujo figures. I guess some people prefer meatier stuff.
I always thought Wonder Woman's high heels are the tallest, but looks like Black Widow's heels won the battle.
Her legs are simply sexy.
The same white base like Rogue's. A 3 tier steps.
Black Widow does look a little more mature than the rest of the Bishoujo figures but that also contributes to her overall sexiness. If you can't live with that, probably you can go for the other version of her which looks much younger.

Review: Kotobukiya Rogue

Now I know why Gambit and Wolverine have the hots for her. She's simply irresistible. Rogue's always been my favourite female character among the X-Men, because she got style, attitude and her powers are so convenient, except for the fact she can't touch anyone without harming them.
Her hair's in a dark orange brown color, straight and neat. Unlike her comic and cartoon style which looks so rugged. I prefer this style anywhere anytime.
Her jacket's in a leather like texture, which I find it's very detailed and well shaded with all the wrinkles and color tone.
With her sweet looking face and those strands of white hair, no wonder she's my favourite. I can't get enough of that hair, especially she's using her hand to brush it to the back.
Her 'X' logo at each sides of her jacket. Very clearly printed.
Rogue's suit comes in her usual yellow and green combination. Like in the comics and cartoon series, it's also body hugging to show off her curvy figure. If she doesn't have that mutant power of hers, I definitely want to see more skin exposed.
Her back's long and slender. Very nice proportions.
Her utility belt's in a nice silver and black color combination. The black's in a matt finish which is similiar to her suit's texture. Very nicely made.
The area where all guys are craving for but unable to touch due to her mutant powers. One touch and you will go into coma. Not applicable for her PVC figure. Tested and proven.
High knee boots which all Bishoujo figures seemed to have. Rogue's boots are in a yellow glossy finish. Details, curves and textures are perfect.
The length of her legs are just nice. Awfully sexy and tempting to caress.
Rogue's base comes in a pure white color with 3 tier steps.
Rogue's not as masculine as what she's supposed to be, but Kotobukiya's slim and slender version of her looks so much better in bringing out her feminine side. Her base is a little simple although I would prefer something much more dynamic.

Review: Kotobukiya Psylocke

I was shocked to find out that Psylocke actually was born in England. The only reason why she's holding katanas is because she lost her memories and gained a body with fighting skills on an island near China from a ninja clan. Her hair is in a dark purple color where it fits the story earlier that she dyed her hair and took up modelling.
She's gracefully striking a pose with dual katanas and her hair sways in motion of her pose. One thing I like the most in Psylocke are her curvy and smooth shoulders which makes her look so attractive in that pose.
Her swords are slot into her hands and lets friction do its work to hold them there.
Shadings and details under her arms are well done.
Her outfit's a simple dark blue color and design befitting of an assassin.
Everything else looks fine, but the lower part of her does look a bit weird to me. Seems like her hips are a little broader and longer than what they are supposed to be.
Psylocke's not wearing much accessories on her. Just that red scarf around her waist.
Her thighs are a major killer. Even without her using her assassin skills, those thighs can make you bleed through your nose.
She has her butt cheeks fully exposed. Nice curves.
Her legs are a little skinny which seems kind of mismatch from her hips and thighs area. The proportion of her lower body really looks a bit awkward from the front, but surprisingly she's prefect from the sides.
High knee blue boots makes my world go round.
The base comes in translucent pink and a big fat white 'X' in the middle.
Overall, Psylocke's a nice figure to have. I was expecting her to see her psychic knifes instead of katanas, but nonetheless real katanas look great too.

Review: Kotobukiya Black Cat

I've always been a fan of Spiderman and just to share, Felicia Hardy has always been my favourite female character in it. Black Cat's face looks fantastic with her glossy pink lips and very clear cut features, although she looks much younger than she really is. I was taken away by her eyes, they look so glassy.
She's holding a heart shaped gem up high, as if showing everyone what she had stolen.
Felicia has one of the nicest hair among the Bishoujo figures. White with shades of blue, lifting up as she executes her jump.
Another nice feature that Black Cat have, are those shimmering bluish fur on her costume while having a low cut is an additional bonus.
Her whole body hugging suit comes in a dark blue glossy finish. Not much to talk about and her body got not much material to show as well.
Her back has nothing much except for looking at her bonbons. I guess most superheros don't pay much attention to design the back of their costumes.
Her other hand's curled up like a claw. Seems a little awkward because she really isn't holding anything at all.
The long and slender legs which made Spidey crawl all over for. Her legs have some excellent details around the ankle area, like the back and sides of her feet.
The skyscraper's design is nice and such, but I was wondering why don't they just give it colors?
Her jumping pose is well supported not only by the peg, which is inserted into the skyscraper, an extra support pole is also provided to hold all that weight.
The building's roof texture and details are simply amazing.
An awesome spidey base.
Black Cat's a little different from most of the Bishoujos, which most of them have a mature body and face, but not for Felicia's case. A younger look is refreshing, I mean, who doesn't like sweet young things?
