Review: Kotobukiya Cerestia

This is Cerestia, the Queen of the Elven Kingdom Astraea. A rare beauty at first sight. She gives out a relax and peaceful feeling when you look at her. The symbol on her forehead is very well designed, probably there as a symbol of her royalness.
The feathers on her hair looks great. There are some fine line details and the feathers are really thin in thickness. Her ears are nicely made as well and sometimes I can see the sunlight shining through them.
She has a long, wavy blond hair coming all the way down to her skirt.
It would be inappropriate for a Queen to expose this much of skin, but I prefer my Queen this style anytime anywhere. I like her outfit's design the most among the rest of the Shining Wind figures. The silver ring holding straps of her top in place with gaps inbetween, showing her fair awesome skin.
Her overall dress color fades from a bright yellow to a light green with extra wrinkles for details. I spot her belly button.
Her sleeves are in the same pattern as her top. It really shows off Cerestia's slim and slender built from this angle.
Her white skirt covers enough to show just the right amount of thighs. Makes me wanna rest my head on those soft looking thighs.
The book she comes with is also incrediblely detailed. There are scriptings on it and there are several layers of pages to make it look natural. Quite a good job for something that small.
Cerestia's skirt has fantastic details. The wrinkles are everywhere and the ruffles at the end of the skirt are pretty well made. Her bare feet are hidden underneath her skirt and as you can see, there's a part where her foot is protruding from her skirt.
The Queen's pet, Lassi. I don't know what species this is but looks kind of cute.
Seems to me that this pet is inspired by Dumbo.
Her base is in a green cloth textured circle, probably made to look like a soft grass patch. To me, the texture feels similiar to a pool or snooker table. The perimeter goes according to the length of Cerestia's skirting laying on it.
Cerestia's beautiful, well made and affordable. I really can't think of any reason why anyone doesn't want to get her.

Review: Megahouse Ymir V2

Like Reina, Ymir has got a second figure in Queen's Blade Rebellions. If you're wondering why Ymir isn't growing any bigger in size, that's because she's a dwarf princess. For all the lolicons out there, she is not a lolita. I repeat, she is not a lolita. Back in black this time, her outfit definitely looks better than her previous version and she comes with an interchangable face.
Not much have changed for her hair, still the same french croissant style. Looking at her hair makes me hungry. I am not a lolicon. I repeat, I am not a lolicon.
Ymir's wearing a very nicely designed black corset. The details of the strings across are very well done with all the gold trimmings. There's also the same golden skull on her chest which you can find almost everywhere else on her.
The gauntlets' details are outstanding especially at the fingers area. The combination of black and red looks extremely striking with the contrast. Small blades can be found on each of her hand.
She's holding 2 axes instead of a giant big one this time round. The axes' frames are in gunmetal color and the edges are in gold. There's also the skull icon on each side of the axes.
Ymir has some articulations on her neck, arms and wrists areas. Intentionally provided to give a flexibility of how you want her to pose her with her axes. Although I said she isn't a lolita but looking at this angle, she's somewhat similiar in built.
In my opinion, this is the best part of Ymir's figure. Just look at that skirt. Her red plaid skirt's pattern is fantastic. The black frills layers are also very realistic.
Nothing particular about her back. You can find the same golden skull motif and a black cool ribbon attached to her waist level.
There are straps coming down, expanding her perimeter. It visually makes her look bigger.
Like her gauntlets, Ymir's boots are also in the same metallic gunmetal color. The same short blades that can be found on her collar bone area and gauntlets.
While I was fixing her on to the base, I felt something pricking my fingers. Then I noticed that there are actually thorns behind her boots.
You've guessed it. Queen's Blade Rebellions on a clear transparent circular base.
Such an amazing gothic outfit and outstanding quality. Go get her now.

Review: Megahouse Airi SP

For those with maid fetish, we have Airi from the Queen's Blade to sweep your feet away. She has dark red hair with dual pony tails, an excellent monocolor maid outfit and a cute face with a blush. Her maid costume reminds me of what those maid cafe waitresses are wearing, with a low cut top and a short skirt.
Her hair band is a piece of white ruffled cloth with a black string at the middle, tied at the two ends of her head into ribbons. The one thing I like about her hair, there are strands overlapping the hair band, coming all the way down to her face.
The back of her head shows her hair being split into two pony tails at the sides. There's also a combination of short and long strands of hair for each pony tail.
Her maid costume's in a typical white and black combination. Sounds boring but not for Airi's case. White ruffles and black ribbons are added to her outfit.
Her sleeves' details are amazing. There are also matching ruffled trims with ribbons on them.
Her apron has wrinkles all over it and flaps at the tips. The details are great and they even add a black line around it to make the white not so plain.
Airi has several ribbons around her. I spotted a total of 7. She has one normal sized at the back of her shoulders and a big nice looking one at the back of her waist.
For Airi's special edition which makes her special, apart from her normal scythe, she also comes with extra weapons. That means you get to choose among 3 weapons to pose her with. Firstly, the fun looking broom with gold printed phoenixes. The bristle's a chunk of plastic which looks realistic enough from afar and the design of the phoenixes is definitely top grade.
Secondly, a halberd with the gold phoenix. Colors and textures are excellent. The metallic colors really goes well with each other.
Black stockings up to her thighs. I'm not a fan of stockings but Airi has some pretty fine slim legs.
She's wearing normal strap shoes which have a glossy finish. It's hard to notice but the buckles are quite well made.
Her normal version's base is a translucent purple but it's clear transparent for the special edition. We have the Queen's Blade wordings on the base as usual.
Her sculpting is so fine, just look at how thin her hair is. Details are fantastic and the face is irresistable. She's a must have if you ask me.

Review: Megahouse Vante

Vante is the only automaton in the Queen's Blade series. I wanted to say non-human, but then I realized actually most of the characters in Queen's Blade aren't human. She's bigger than some of the Queen's Blade characters but one thing special about Vante, she has articulation on her arms and legs. She also comes with exchangable right hand, a remote control which inputs all her commands and a small clear base for Huit.
There are freckles on her cheeks and she has pointy elf ears. She's wearing a housemaid costume, somewhat similiar to Airi's fashion. The ruffles on her head dress are very well detailed, added to the ends are little pink ribbons.
She probably has the longest hair among the Queen's Blade characters. Very nice blond and the strands coming down look exceptionally good.
A very nice gold rose at her chest area. Even if she's an automaton, she definitely has things which most female will be jealous of.
Her apron's wrinkles are very detailed and the shadings look good. A pink heart with gold trimming near her waist area.
Vante has mega huge arms. Details are terrific, the bronze color really looks like real metal. The best part is she's able to throw a rocket punch like Mazinger.
She's wearing a transparent skirt which I guess is to make up for being too covered up. I'm sure we all know that overly covered figures doesn't really fit to be a Queen's Blade figure.
Her left hand somewhat reminds me of Rockman.
The back part of her apron has a small little gold ring at the tip of it.
I was mentioning her legs are poseable, as you can see there's bolts through her knees. Doesn't look awkward at all, the bolts goes well with metallic finish of her legs.
She doesn't have feet, so she's basically held standing by these mounts and only one of them has a peg.
A clear circular base with Queen's Blade Rebellion on it.
Vante looks grand in size. Bonus feature of moving her arms and legs around. I'm not so into articulating figures but she definitely goes well with Huit.
