Review: Hobby Japan Junko Hattori

When the pre-order for her started, I already knew I had to get her. After her release I waited in excitement for months hoping my supplier would contact me for collection. Bad news came as somebody told me that supplier went missing in action. A big disappointment at first, but finally I managed to get her through a friend of mine. I mean a cutie in ninja outfit, who could resist?
My concept of ninjas are, they must have scarfs. Just look at my Esper logo.
Her robe's fantastic, the details on her waist tells it all. Originally the previews of her shows that she's castoffable, don't know how it happened that her outfit's not really so. But I peeped through the seams and could see there are details inside of her clothes. Yeah, I know I sounded like a perv there.
Her gauntlet has a great design with all the trims and the claws. You could put the kunai in her left hand, but it'll still look great without it. I mean why would you want another weapon when you have claws there.
Peekaboo.
There's a very long sword sheath hanging behind her in the same color theme. I was hoping they made it hollow so I could really keep the sword in there. Oh well, can't ask for too much.
Her sword looks really cool. Her robe sleeve's great too. The greatest view is what you see between them here. I'm talking about the sword guard, don't be misleaded.
The back of her robe has fantastic gold patterns imprinted on them and they really shine. You can clearly see the continuation of the greatest view here. Alright, you caught me, I'm not talking about the sword guard just now.
Her leg armors are amazing. Wish they could put in more effort in her feet areas, looks kind of dull.
To my surprise, Junko has the most stable base compared to the rest of my figures. With that pose and the flame portion of the base, she's not even budging when I turn her around. Normally big sized figures tend to lean towards the heavier side, but it's not the case here.
The translucent orange flames she's surfing, a heavy chunk of plastic.
Queen's Gate. It follows exactly the same style as the Queen's Blade series, considering it's a spin off from them.
I'm actually glad to get my hands on her, but taking away the castoff is really a pity. There's a way to cast her off by cutting through her clothes, but I wouldn't want to do that. Yeah I know I don't post pictures of castoff, but I do wish to have them for my own enjoyment.
