Review: Kotobukiya Supergirl

Allow me to introduce Superman's cousin, Supergirl. She looks very much younger than Superman but in actual fact, she's the elder cousin assigned to look after Superman when their planet blows up. I wouldn't mind such a hot babe looking after me for all eternity. Her face proportion is the most natural among all other Bishoujo's figures, not being too slim and not being too round. Not sure if wearing makeup and fighting crimes go with each other, but she has that very prominent pink eyeliners.
She's blond, and Kotobukiya made it translucent once again. That antenna looks so cute and she has nice bangs.
Is it me or does all the Bishoujo's figures have this hair flowing back which looks like tentacles? Anyway it looks great going from a solid color to a transparent clear at the tips.
Count us lucky that Superman is wearing blue tights and red underpants, because that's what Supergirl adopted. Her costume's in the same blue as Superman which hugs her so tightly.
The official 'S' logo which stands for Super. She definitely has a super front.
The iconic red cloak which serves no purpose to aid in flying. Just a nice decoration with gold trims. The details of the waves on her cloak looks great.
She's showing off her belly button and I think you guys know how much I love belly buttons. The details of her golden belt looks great too, but her abdominals look so much yummier.
That's why I said we were lucky, instead of wearing the red underpants outside, she's wearing it inside and that's the only thing she's wearing underneath. Nice ass to go with too.
Matching red high boots to go with her long slim legs.
Here's Streaky peeking under Supergirl's skirt. It's sculpting is intentionally made rough to bring out the details of its fur.
Pinkish cloud-shaped diorama. It's also translucent and hollow inside.
The diorama looks great enough for the base to be a transparent round shape. Enough justification.
Supergirl's costume concept reminds me of a cheerleader's uniform. The details and shading are nice. Figure proportions are great and we'll get a cat as a sidekick this time round.

Review: Hobby Japan Luna Luna

Dancing in the moonlight. Everybodys feeling warm and bright. Here's Luna Luna the moon dancer. Most people will think that she's by Megahouse, but surprisingly, I can't seem to find any Megahouse's name or logo on her box. Seriously I don't really care where she's from, I only know she's in my hands now. Luna Luna can also be castoffable, which I think is pretty pointless as she only has that piece of white cloth to be taken out.
Let's start with her head dress. Nicely done detailed in metallic baby blue and purple but I got no idea what it is. The wing design and scales beneath it looks nice. Her gloves are also painted in the same metallic baby blue. That piece of white cloth she's covered with, comes in translucent pearl white finish.
One thing to note about Luna Luna's hair is that it's in a metallic dark blue on the top, dark brown when it reaches the middle and slowly fades to orange at the tips. Fantastic tricolor combination. Not sure how many of you are disgusted by tentacles, but they really look great on her especially with the use of clear parts. Her hair accessory is also translucent at the tip area.
Just when you think Menace is overexposed, Luna Luna topped the charts. Not even covered by a decent pantsu, all she has is a string of beads all the way up to that single tentacle which looks like an eggplant. She has that nice looking purple flower with a checkered centre inbetween her two mighty coconuts which has gold chains hanging all the way to that eggplant.
The things I like about Luna Luna are her hand gestures and her twisting pose. Her hands posture are somewhat similiar to those that I saw in an Indian movie where they move their head sidewards and start twisting their hands around while they are dancing. Her overall pose looks amazing. It really brings out her body curves but it's basically not possible in reality. I can't imagine anyone standing tip-toed on one leg and leaning backwards slightly to the side, is able to maintain their balance. Perhaps her unrealistic coconuts act as a counterweight.
Nice ass and back. I mean nice accessories on her back. Luna Luna's back has a nice gold ornament covering her lower back area and a metallic blue portion covering her tail bone area. It goes hanging nicely to her buttcrack. She has big thighs. Bigger than her butt.
Well, she's not completely nude waist down. She's wearing fishnet stockings which are just a little slightly darker than her tanned skin color. There are some cool looking details on her thigh ring and a pretty bell-shaped flower at the side.
Same goes for the other side.
Luna Luna has a lot of gold applied to her, her foot are no exceptions.
Metallic purple really goes well with gold. The sculpting of that scorpion-like thingy is highly detailed as well. Her toe nails' painted the same as her finger nails.
You can tell she's a bit shaky by looking at how they make her stand. Only supported by two pins, yet standing tall with that hard to balance pose, a little touch will make her go wobbling.
The clear transparent base with Queen's Blade Rebellion. The same as the rest.
It's hard to ignore that little eggplant but Luna Luna really is a piece of art worth getting. The colors are rich, the details are terrific and all the accessories on her are outstanding.

Review: Kotobukiya Emma Frost

Another beautiful psychic mutant sent out to play with your minds, Emma Frost. She is also known as the White Queen, so that explains the color of her outfit. At first sight, Emma doesn't seems like an addition to the Marvel line of figures, she looks more like a super idol posing for some photoshoot. I wouldn't be able to recognise her if not for the X-Men logo on her cape.
I'm not sure if anyone has a similiar problem like mine, but the gold paint on the X logo tends to run off and stain other places of her clothes. It can be easily taken care of with some careful and gentle cleaning. Not much of a hassle considering the fact that I'm actually carassing and cleaning her up for a nice shot. That sounds so kinky.
Something different about Emma is that instead of making her hair translucent like the rest of the Marvel Bishoujo, they gave her a solid blond. Her hair flowing around the place just like her cape.
Emma seems smaller in scale than the others but overall her body's quite proportional. I wonder why is she reaching out her hand when she doesn't have any psycho attack powers, but who cares. She does look nice in that pose.
Her outfit's in a glossy pearl white concept with shades of blue. It gives a texture like leather. It's been so long since I last saw a bare belly button and it sure looks good. Her abdomen is pretty well shaded.
Low hip pants are the way to go. You will notice her showing off her buttcrack. It sort of shows that Emma can be quite fashionable because buttock cleavage-revealing trousers was in the trend only in the early 2000s.
Her bare back looks nice with her cape floating around.
They made her cape more bluish underneath to get a simple contrast. Probably to prevent everything being a single color.
Her hips and waist look deliciously amazing. Another thing is that she does have a set of slim and long legs to go with her slim waist.
Skin is fair. Skin is too little. I need more skin.
Beautiful white high heel boots in the same pearl finish.
Her base is somewhat like a pavement with all the bricks. The details and colors are great as usual.
Gorgeous blonde in pure white sexiness. I can't believe anyone would want to give her a miss.

Review: Kotobukiya Ms Marvel

I was trying to recall who Ms Marvel was, then I suddenly remembered she's the one who got her powers stolen by Rogue and hence bestow her the ability of flight and super strength. Ms Marvel not only comes in a more open pose than the rest of the Bishoujo figures which makes her exceptionally stunning, but she also holds two energy bursts on each hand and two energy boosters on her chest.
Ms Marvel comes with translucent hair but in a light brown color instead of blond. Love that hair style and hair length. Don't mind me here, it's just my own personal liking.
Seems like the Marvel family have some sort of lightning icon on their outfit. Ms Marvel has hers nicely printed across her chest in a golden color. Her outfit's all glossy black which really brings out her fair skin color.
Her energy balls look mighty impressive. These are removable so you can choose to pose her without them. I'm not sure why anyone would want to do that.
Too much of translucent orange can never hurt anyone.
The details are great in every way. We can see her outfit being stretched as she's turning her waist. Boy, she sure has a nice waist.
Great job with her sash. Colored in solid metallic red and there are so many fine details added to it. Bet even Ryu wants this as his headband.
Sexy black leather high boots always goes with sexy smooth thighs.
It's very hard to ignore her legs. Very hard.
They're long, firm and curvy. I'm glad they didn't go for a more muscular look for Ms Marvel cause I can't imagine giving up fleshy smooth thighs for pieces of muscles when her overall image is already this soft.
I know this is what everyone's been waiting for. The firmness, shadings and fullness of her butt cheeks can easily win her Ms Best Butt in the Marvel Universe and all their alternate dimension.
Here she stands on a pile of rocks which looks like a portion of a road being smashed. The details of the broken edges are great. Even the tones are well captured.
Nice contrast of colors, great dynamic pose and a whole lot of superhuman skin exposed. I must say the proportions and details are great, but a little more expression on the face will definitely make her look better. Ms Marvel is a must get, you can trust me on that.
