Review: Kotobukiya Maxima

I was taken by surprise. Right after I did the review on Kaguya, it sort of left an impression on me that Maxima's going to be somewhat or rather similiar with the paintjob and the lack of certain details. But Maxima's quite a flawless figure, being from the same series and company.
She comes with accessories like her katana and a thin piece of card. The card is completely held on by only friction between her two fingers. The card is small but you can see some really nice details over here.

Just a normal long ribbon tying her hair in a pony tail manner. Look, there's earrings too.
Her dress is all black with white printings. It feels like a smooth leather-like texture, not to mention the tribal printings are astonishing. The criss cross front adds some interesting factor to her dress. She's wearing a white lace short dress underneath which is removable if you like. Her pantsu has a very interesting cut-out, which once again I'm not showing. Very well designed.
Her shoulders are covered by the same material as her dress which I don't find covering anything else. It's to show off 2 perfect circles from all sorts of angle. The laces alongside her dress looks great.
Nobody can get enough of that bare back.
The tip of her dress are multiple sharp points with a sword and wings on every one of them, crusader style.
Metallic silver hilt. To put the sword on, you just have to separate the tip and the handle. Nice. On her sword guard you can see a 6-pointed star on it and the blade coming out from the center of it.
The blade of her katana sure is long. On the top of the blade, I could see a cut out nip. At least they could do some sanding there.
Again with the big ribbon on waist concept. Her hair ribbon comes all the way down to her dress with heart-shaped ends.
Nice matching boots. Although there's no details of the ankles as well, but boots are meant to cover the entire feet to the mid shin area, so it's logical that I can't see any ankles here. Convinced?
The same base as Kaguya. Same stage.
Honestly, Maxima is quite a well done figure considering it's produced by Kotobukiya. Accessories to a figure is always a plus point. The paintjob definitely is better for Maxima. I have no problems recommending her.
